"The Sony World Photography Awards is a truly global competition. From Argentina to Zimbabwe, over 60,000 photograph entries were submitted this year from 139 different countries.
In the professional competition, a maximum of ten photographers have been shortlisted in each of the 12 categories within the three subject genres : Photojournalism and Documentary, Commercial and Fine Art."
