After a long and successful career as an Art Model, working with the greatest, Iris Dassault has decided to pick up her camera and to start the journey of her own photography.
Just some months after this wonderful decision, she's already preparing her first exhibition. What a woman ! What an artist...
If you're in the Detroit area, don't miss her very first collective show, with Jim Young, Patricia Izzo, Joe Crachiola and Robert Stewart.
Cherry on the cake, her next one is planned on April 2009. More to come soon.

Iris Dassault - "Memories of a childhood"
“The things which the child loves remain in the domain of the heart until old age. The most beautiful thing in life is that our souls remaining over the places where we once enjoyed ourselves” - Tors Kahlil Gibran
" I'm very excited about this opportunity. I will be showing some landscapes I did on a very magical, foggy morning near the lake. A morning that was magical for more than just the atmospheric conditions, it was a special morning because it was the first day I really, really walked outside looking at things with the eye of a photographer.
The images from that shoot are the images that awakened something inside of me that will be very difficult to deny or push back in the future.
I'm proud to be side by side Jim Young, Patricia Izzo, Joe Crachiola and Robert Stewart, people I admire for their talent and integrity as artists as well as human beings."
